17.75" x 14.75" x .5"

Lisa G. Bailey is a nationally awarded Franklin, MA artist. She is originally from Grosse Pointe MI and holds a B.A. in Art & Interior Design. Lisa works and teaches in many drawing and painting mediums. She recently exhibited her work at the AAM’s 2016 national juried exhibit ‘Patterns’ and at Cape Cod Art Association’s 2016 national exhibit. She received Best In Show at the Framingham Artists’ Guild exhibit & First Place at the Amazing Things Arts Center Open Fine Art exhibit in Sept 2016.

“Tree Trunk” is an original, numbered and signed, limited edition etching. Each of the hand-rubbed copper plates were printed with a different color blend of hand mixed inks. This print is the 12th of fifteen and was prepared with brownish-black ink. “Tree Trunk” is the fourth plate in Lisa’s tree series. In this etching you see a close-up view of a trunk being entwined by a vine. The first plate started out broad in scope with a jungle called ‘Mid-Forest’ and this final plate ends with a small section of a tree revealed.
