CJ Martignetti has been a leader in digital for over 17 years. He currently leads the business strategy and execution of Digital Engagement through social media, chat, and community forums across AT&T. In this position, he is responsible for managing platforms and strategy for this ever growing digital capabilities. These services are used over 20 million times annually both internally and externally. Since joining AT&T in 2009, CJ has helped the organization grow online and mobile servicing by 35% and has increased paperless penetration rates by 85%. CJ led the development of a dedicated Social Media Care discipline for AT&T in 2009. Since then, the team has grown to over 100 employees who helped more than 600K customers in 2015 alone. The team has received recognition in the industry as a company that understands how to deliver customer service in Social Media. In 2010, AT&T jumped 45 spots to be named the #32 social media brand by Vitrue, a leading social media publishing software provider. This increase was directly attributed to “AT&T’s quick and smart actions to help their customers achieve great service through social channels…” Prior to joining AT&T, CJ led the strategy and development of a secure electronic communication solution for customers across 50 countries for Citi. Additionally, he developed Citi’s email management practice and led the online delivery to support Citi’s credit card business. In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, ignoring Facebook and Farmville requests, and attempting to use his Apple TV.
