Item Description

Oil on canvas. (Image, 20x20 inches).

Educated at Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, David Harrison now lives in Boston and paints in the style of Contemporary Realism. He works in oil with his paintings showing strength and clarity. There is a sense of minimalism on the canvas that may speak of hidden meaning. His still life paintings have been compared to those of William Bailey, whose work also includes real objects that appear symbolic, or as Bailey noted, “They’re actors in my repertory company!”

His paintings are owned by many private collectors, including Senator Elizabeth Warren.
