Item Description
In addition to being a semi-reformed art dealer, sometime art historian, and occasional author, Roger Howlett is also preserver of the family farm and putter-upper of the family preserves. He also, with professional help, keeps three hives of bees (which keep him in honey). For the last two years he has been brewing his own beer and has graduated from kits, to recipes and now his own inventions. He awaits with nervous anticipation the impending birth of his first gruit.
Roger plants a too-big garden every spring which gets away from him by late June. This includes a peppery oregano which gets cut and dried each fall. Share in this odd bounty by bidding on a basket which contains:
8 oz jar of Grandma Lila Marion Bliss Howlett’s Bordeaux Sauce (green tomato and cabbage relish),
8 oz. jar of Grandma Anna Trautman’s Chili Sauce (spicy tomato relish but not too hot).
8 oz jar of Raw Floral Howlett Farm Honey (local wildflowers honey).
4 12 oz bottles of home brew
Jar of Howlett peppery oregano
