Item Description
One hour in-person, telepresence or telephone session with Shyam Venkat. Shyam is currently the Vice President of Digital Experience Technology (DET) where he leads the creation and maintenance of technology platforms and solutions required for enabling AT&T customers with optimal Digital Experiences across Products and Customer Segments – and supports aggressive migration of customer interactions to Digital and Self-Service. He has been with AT&T for 12 years. Prior to joining AT&T in early 2004, Shyam was a Senior Engagement/Delivery Manager with Deloitte Consulting, and served a variety of Fortune 500 clients (such as Shell Energy, Chevron/Texaco, PG&E, Kaiser Permanente, DirecTV, AT&T, etc.) across multiple industries with Technology/Systems Integration, IT Strategy, and Business Intelligence efforts. Prior to Deloitte, Shyam worked for LG&E Energy Marketing, where he managed the IT Application Development functions for the unregulated trading subsidiary and was instrumental in creating cutting-edge Energy/Commodity Trading and Risk Management systems, and before that worked for Siemens & Corning (Siecor) in both IT and Manufacturing/Quality Engineering capacities. He earned a Master's degree in Information Systems and a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Madras, India. He lives in Dallas with his wife Priya and two children, Raag and Laya.
