Item Description
One Night Stay for Two with Breakfast
When this great old house was built in 1906, it was the only house in the middle of what would become Hillcrest Orchard. It pre-dates the house built by Reginald and Maude Parsons, who bought the orchard in 1908. Leading Rogue Valley architect Frank C. Clark designed the family residence, which was built in 1912. At one time, Valley View was the farthest point on the streetcar line that ran from downtown Medford. Although it started as a modest one-story farmhouse, it has been added to through the years, becoming one of the most gracious homes in this old eastside neighborhood. It is proximal to some of Medford's major businesses; a lovely one mile walk will take you to the Rogue Regional Medical Center and Roxyann Winery, to name a few.
