Luxuriate in a ONE-week stay in a fabulous PRIVATE VILLA at the glorious beachfront AMANPURI resort. Amanpuri (meaning “place of peace”) is Thailand’s most spectacular resort, which has 40 pavilion rooms and 30 private villa homes, interspersed throughout a secluded gated coconut plantation. Surrounded by the Andaman Sea, the white coral sand beachfront Amanpuri offers the ultimate in luxurious resort facilities, including full water sports (plus two yachts available for charter), spa facilities and gym, executive services, tennis (including tennis partners), and world-class golf courses nearby.

As many as 4 families or 10 couples, will be in for the time of their lives in the Villa consisting of 10 bedrooms, with different configurations (further information available upon request), 2 separate dining pavilions, 2 separate living pavilions, a private gym in the villa, a private swimming pool, several outdoor living areas and fully staffed with a gourmet cook and 3 housekeepers. (If more than 20 guests, additional staff must be hired at a minimal cost).

Item Special Note

All hotel facilities are available. Some are inclusive and some are for an extra fee.

Certificate does not include food and beverage, transportation, amenities, gratuities, spa services, private trainer, phone and babysitting or outside services.

Food Cost- Costs of the food and beverage in the villa -- averaging cost per day is between $50 to $80 (Breakfast, lunch and dinner/ also depends on the type of food that is ordered.)

Winner is responsible for any damage caused to the property.

POSSIBLE AVAILABILITY:

Pending dates are agreed upon availability. All Availability subject to change between receipt of this contract and date of auction. Please check for updates before date of auction. Dates may sometimes become available as well. Some summer dates may become available. Auction winner must call to determine possible dates.

Expiration date will be one year after the date of the event. No exceptions.

RESTRICTIONS:

Dates scheduled must be from a Sunday to a Sunday. Friday departures from the U.S. will arrive Sunday in Thailand. Sunday returns from Thailand will arrive in the U.S. on Sunday. The auction winner(s) must be present during the stay at the villa. The villa may not be re-sold, rented or lent to any other persons not including the auction winner(s). The auction winner may invite as many guests as desired to stay with him whilst he uses the villa.

The auction winner must contact the villa owner or his representative within 30 days of the auction in order to book dates or the transaction will be voided. The owner reserves the right to cancel the transaction at any time preceding the agreed-upon date of usage, due to unforeseen circumstances. If the transaction is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances before the mutually agreed-upon date of usage, the winner may elect to negotiate a refund of his donation, as he requires directly with the beneficiary organization and not with the villa owner. The villa owner is not responsible for any financial reimbursement due to unforeseen cancellation of this transaction.

All potential dates are subject to availability at the time when the auction winner contacts the villa owner or his representative to choose a mutually agreed-upon date. The dates listed in this notification are the dates available at the time of printing and do not necessarily reflect the dates available at the time of the auction. If a mutually agreed-upon date cannot be chosen by the auction winner and villa owner or his representative within one month of the date of the auction, the winner may elect to negotiate the return of the donation directly with the beneficiary organization and not with the villa owner.The villa owner is not responsible for any financial or contractual agreement not arrived upon within one month of the date of the auction.

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance including but not limited to the sale of the villa, unforeseen damage to the villa, a natural disaster, or other extenuating circumstances that would occur before the mutually agreed-upon date of usage, due to which the villa owner must cancel the winner’s right to stay at the villa, the auction winner may elect to negotiate the return of his donation if he so desires directly with the beneficiary organization and not with the villa owner. The villa owner is not responsible for providing a substitute date -the auction winner should negotiate the return of his donation if he so desires directly with the beneficiary organization. The villa owner is not liable for any financial remuneration or substitute dates caused by an unforeseen cancellation of this transaction.

In the case where a mutual date cannot be agreed upon between the winner and villa owner, or in the case of an unforeseen circumstance where the transaction must be cancelled by the villa owner, the beneficiary organization agrees to resolve the issue to the auction winner’s satisfaction including but not limited to refunding the auction winner’s donation. The villa owner is not responsible for any remuneration should the transaction need to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as sale of the villa, unplanned maintenance or construction, natural disaster or other similar event.

Please make arrangements with the villa owner or his representative for a mutually convenient date within one month of the date of the auction. A date must mutually be agreed upon by owner and auction winner within one month of the date of the auction or the transaction will be considered null and void.
