Item Description

Three night and four day stay on a hay farm in a small and beautiful Amish-built cabin on 23 acres with woods, stocked large pond (bass, bluegill and catfish) (1/2 acre pond), ancient silo, and hayfields. Eight miles from a Katy Trail trailhead. Package includes all fishing gear, and the whole place is yours.

Spring and Fall are the best times to visit, but weekends in Summer are good too.

GREAT for photography!

GREAT for fishing!

There’s one futon bed and up to two people can sleep on it and there’s a cot in the shed for a third person such as a child.  (Bring the cot inside.)  There are towels and linens along with a large refrigerator, microwave, and hot plates but no stove/oven. Next to this “kitchen” area is a breakfast nook corner (table and V-shaped bench) that seats at least four people comfortably. The cabin is about 250 sq ft, built by Amish and Mennonite carpenters 11 years ago.
