This early 20th century Japanese dressing table appears to be made of manchurian oak with a silk mirror cover. It comes from Kyushu Island in the Mizosahi province, the third largest island in Japan. The table was a gift to Frank Farmer and Frank Kolbert from Ruth Meyer, former director of the Taft Museum of Art in Cincinnati, OH.
Stands approximately 4 feet tall with a 14 inch by 10 inch base. Mirror and base separate for easier movement.
