Item Description
Includes twelve 100% Complete & Balanced Adult Dog Food Bars
When founder and co-owner Leslie Fhima was working as a personal trainer, she allowed her dog to tag along in her car from one client’s home to the next. While refueling with an energy bar between clients and routinely missing her dog’s meal time, Leslie had an “AH-HAH" moment and came up with an idea. Why not formulate a dog food bar while I eat my protein bar in the car? PowerBark was born.
After uniting with licensed dietician/nutritionist (not to mention co-owner and lifelong friend) Beth Arnold, the two women took on the task of developing a formula for a 100% complete and balanced dog food bar. Working together for the last 3 years they noticed a gap in the market for the availability of a wholesome, natural and convenient dog food, which led them to formulate PowerBark, a 100% complete and balanced dog food bar that pet parents can provide their dogs anywhere, anytime. PowerBark is made from natural ingredients with added vitamins and minerals. It's vegetarian and wheat, corn, and preservative free. PowerBark provides complete nutritional adequacy for adult dogs as guided by AAFCO Dog Food Nutrient Profiles.
Leslie and Beth also wanted PowerBark to provide ease and portability for just about everyone whose dog accompanies them. With the help of their families and six grown children between the two women, Leslie and Beth have geared PowerBark to provide assurance to pet parents who quickly pack up the family, the dogs, and grab a few PowerBark bars that they’ll have a “MEAL ON THE RUN FOR THE DOG ON THE GO"!
