Item Description

Here's a great opportunity to vacation in splendor on the "other" coast. Book this custom-built home in one of Seattle's loveliest neighborhoods, Magnolia. It's built on a hill that overlooks the city and the natural beauty that frames it: Puget Sound and the magnificent Cascade and Olympic mountain ranges.

Downtown Seattle and the Space Needle are a short 8-minute drive from this spacious and elegant home, making it ideal for a family vacation. Take in the Pike Place Fish Market. Visit the Chihuly Garden. Have lunch at the top of the Space Needle. Taste seafood second only to that we find here in our beloved New England.

Yes, there's plenty to do in Seattle and plenty of room in this fabulous home that will be your base. And what a place to call home for a week. It's surrounded by elegant gardens, fountains, and even palm trees. It features 360-degree views of Downtown Seattle, Mt. Rainier, the Sound, and the mountains that rise from it all. The Seattle Cruise Ship terminal is less than a mile away.

Two of the three bedrooms are located on the upper level of this home, including the master. The view from the king sized bed in the master is breathtaking, with the iconic city below, gorgeous against the shimmering water. In the distance, on clear days, Mt. Rainier in all its glory gives a show of shows. Absolutely stunning.

The master bathroom features a custom, oversized jetted tub and walk-in shower. The second bedroom on the upper level also features a full bath. The open, gourmet kitchen is on the main floor of the home and includes top-of-the-line appliances. Off the kitchen is a formal living room classically decorated with a large fireplace. The living room has French doors opening to a balcony that overlooks the huge living space on the lower level. That lower space boasts its own grandeur, with 20 foot ceilings and three giant floor-to-ceiling windows. There also is a second kitchen, full bathroom, and a third bedroom, which features a walk-in closet and a queen sized bed.

In the morning, grab your coffee and head up to the roof, where you'll find a large deck with views in every direction. It's a good place to plan your day in Seattle, The Emerald City.
