Class Format:
Shamatha Yoga Studio conducts classes in graduated level format.
Classes are in six week sessions. Each class is aproximately 90 minutes long.
New students generally enroll in level 1A class designed for beginners.
Attendance twice a week is neccesary, we have classes 7 days a week.
Each class consists of Hatha Yoga (External & Physical) and Raja Yoga (Internal & Subtle)instruction with a variety description of Breathing, Meditation and Relaxation Techniques.

Yoga is an ancient Indian practice. It is an Art, a Science, a Philosophy and Therapy, which intergrates both physical and spiritual practices.Practiced on a regular basis, Yoga helps to create Harmony, Balance, Strenght, Flexibility and Suppleness. It also releases chronic tension, stress and anxiety. Yoga encourages one to live life more concious, more joyful and centered.
What styles of yoga we teach?
The teaching style is eclectic and non-dogmatic. We intergrate Kripalu, Iyengar, Sivananda, Vinyasa Flow, Power, Ashtanga and others.

You will be notified by e-mail if you are the winning bidder. If shipment of your item is required, shipping charges will apply and will be billed to your account. Local residents may make arrangements for pick-up between November 16, 2016-December 1, 2016.
- Your bid on an item is a binding agreement to pay the school for the services/ items offered.
- Unless otherwise noted, the deadline on claiming services will be November 13, 2017. After this date all right and entitlement to the item or service are cancelled.
- Items may not be returned or exchanged.
- BCDS does not provide kosher certification. The kashrut of all food items is guaranteed only by the company/restaurant/host.
- Bi-Cultural Day School does not warrant the quality, value or the safety of any of the items or services offered for purchase at the auction. All items are sold in “as is” condition. Dollar values are estimated and provided by the donor and are not warranted by BCDS.
