Item Description
Amber and wood
9 1/4" circumference
Ania Davis was always surrounded by amber while growing up in Gdansk, a Baltic city port in her native Poland, but her true fascination grew several years later after moving to the US. Ania became mesmerized with the history, beauty and origins of amber, and also with the design of amber jewelry. She analyzed many jewelry designs and styles, both historic and modern, and identified the elements that represent her own contemporary aesthetics - simple lines and curves that show off the amber and accentuate its brilliance.
Ania always hand selects the amber for her jewelry, and creates a design “around the amber” so as not to destroy its inner beauty - this natural look is what makes each piece special.
