Item Description
Clamming in Marblehead has a long history and surf clams are delicious to eat. Spend a full moon or new moon low tide on the beach with Mitch Wondolowski, a former resident and real estate agent at William Raveis in Marblehead.
You will be responsible for obtaining a clam license which can be obtained at the Marblehead Town Clerk's Office ($10 for residents for the season). Mitch will provide the necessary tools i.e. pitchfork and bucket. Expect to fill a 5 Gallon bucket with surf clams during the tide. Learn how to shuck the clams. Mitch will also provide some of his tasty recipies for sea clams (priceless) You will know how to clam in Marblehead after the outing.
