An Artful Mystery – With a Silver Lining
One of the Auction’s special attractions during this silver anniversary year will be the auctioning of a “mystery artwork” donated by a prominent, award-winning artist. The artist is a long-time donor to the auction and their work always sparks a lively bidding war.
This piece and its creator’s name will remain a mystery until our auctioneer’s gavel falls and the piece is awarded to the highest bidder. The only details that we can share are:
- Medium: Pastel
- Framed Size: 22” high x 22” wide x 1” deep
- Value: $850
- NOTE: This piece won an award in a national juried exhibition of the Pastel Society of New Hampshire!
The mystery piece will be uncovered when sold. Auction coordinators believe that with the reputation of, and quality produced by, this artist – the lucky winner will be completely delighted.
Item Special Note
A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.
The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
This item can be shipped via UPS or picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 8-12, 2016. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10-5pm. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
