Item Description
Enjoy a tasty beverage while you drink in some great dramatic literature. First Folio's Artistic Associates have donated their favorite scripts as well as the appropriate beverage to pair with that script. (This could be a new TV on PBS, don't you think?) This package includes
- Pericles, a 115-year-old edition of Shakespeare's romance found in a Door County antiques store, and a bottle of Shakespeare Oatmeal Stout (donated by Kevin McKillip)
- Captain Blood, the First Folio world premiere script, autographed by David Rice, and a bottle of Pirate's Blood mead (in a skull-shaped bottle)
- Three Tall Women by Edward Albee, and a bottle of Skinny Girl Sauvignon Blanc, 2014. (Donated by Melanie Keller)
- The 39 Steps - a well worn, personally annotated actor's copy used by Joe Foust, and a bottle of Carquelin Moulin a Vent Beaujolais 2003 (Donated by Joe Foust)
- Pirandello's Henry IV by Tom Stoppard and the makings for THE MAD KING cocktail (see recipe below) including a bottle of Templeton Rye, spicy ginger beer, and grenadine.
