Camille North has been through the whole journey … from the elementary years, through high school, and on to college. And now she’s helping others benefit from what she’s learned through the process.

For some, homeschooling is a natural extension of Attachment Parenting, but it's easy to get overwhelmed when you know that the success of your child's future rests squarely on your shoulders. You're counselor, teacher, parent, and curriculum developer.

Homeschooling comes easily for some, especially with young children. But when your child hits the high school years, you may feel a bit out of your depth. If you've ever thought it would be nice to sit down with a neighbor, an AP neighbor--one who's a long-time homeschooling veteran and has sent two kids to college and is working on the third--here’s your chance.

You might recognize Camille North as the former editor of API Links, Attachment Parenting International’s monthly newsletter. Camille is also the parent to three children, ages 20, 18, and 16 and is knee deep in the high school and college years.

Camille has facilitated her children's education through what many call “eclectic homeschooling”; she has followed her children’s interests through creative education, while ensuring that her kids have enough knowledge to achieve their goals--whatever they are--throughout life. And she does so with an AP mindset.

Camille is now lending her expertise in the high school journey through phone or Skype consultations with individuals or groups. Camille will talk with you about your unique situation and your individual child(ren). She can give you pointers and resources that will assist you in finding the right balance or the right academic fit for you child--and answer any other questions you have about homeschooling and college.

Camille has been a fixture in Austin, Texas’s, homeschooling community for many years. She has a master’s degree in biopsychology and spent her pre-mom life in academic publishing.
