Amy Stewart has written for The New York Times and the Washington Post, and is also the co-founder of the popular blog GardenRant. She has written eight books and is the author of a series based on the true story of three sisters in the 1910s (Lady Cop Makes Trouble is the second installment in the series). She has received a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship, the American Horticulture Society's Book Award, and an International Association of Culinary Professionals Food Writing Award. Stewart lives in Eureka, California, and owns a bookstore there with her husband.
