Item Description
This rare 16x20 print comes from the private collection of Charles Callaway.
This print features American jazz musician, William James "Count" Basie is seated at a piano with presumably a fellow musician. Count Basie played the piano and organ, composed music and was especially known for forming and bandleading his very own Count Basie Orchestra. Under his direction, many jazz musicians and singers came to prominence.
Unframed, encased in removable protective cellophane.
