Adam Hochschild is a co-founder of Mother Jones and the author of eight books. His books King Leopold's Ghost and To End All Wars were finalists for the National Book Critics Circle Award, and Bury the Chains was a finalist for the National Book Award as well as a recipient of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize and the PEN USA Literary Award. Hochschild spent five months in 1997-98 as a Fulbright lecturer in India. He currently teaches at the Graduate School of Journalism at the University of California-Berkeley.
