Item Description
Well known museum consultant Kathy Craughwell-Varda will spend a half-day on-site with your organization offering her expert consulting services on topics pertaining to history collections (especially storage and rearranging space), interpretation and exhibition planning/installation/design.
Kathleen Craughwell-Varda is a museum curator/consultant with more than twenty-five years of experience in the field. She provides services to museums, historical societies and private collectors, including collection surveys; exhibition research, planning and development; researching and writing interpretive materials, including historic house interpretations, furnishing plans, orientation gallery exhibitions, and visitor tours; she also provides staff and volunteer training; and lectures on care for collections, women's history, costume and textile history. Kathy has worked as an assessor with the Conservation Assessment Program, and is currently a mentor in the StEPs-CT program.
Item Special Note
150 miles of travel is included in the consulting package. Any travel in excess of 150 miles (roundtrip) will be the responsibility of the successful bidder, and billed at $.55/mile.
The successful bidder will receive a written confirmation and/or certificate of purchase.
