Item Description
This unique basket begins w/ a Montana deer antler found on hikes gathering naturally dropped antlers w/ the the antler becoming the handle for the basket. The basket is all hand woven and created by weaving natural and colored reeds, grasses, leather and antler medallions as decorations. The only means of attachment are a few holes drilled in the antlers to hold the original reeds with the remainder being woven and tied in with leather. Each basket has its own unique shape based on the size and shape of the antler. Primarily a decorative piece, the basket can be used to hold light items such as pine cones, yarns or small treasures. Measures 11” high from basket base to highest point on the antler; 14” x 14” wide.
