Item Description
Treat yourself and your partner/friend to a guided day-long tour kayaking one of the finest sections of Lake Champlain.
The trip includes kayaks/all gear, instruction, lunch, and more historical and natural history than you may want to know.
We will start our trip at the mouth of the Otter Creek and then paddle to and along the New York shore, visiting old iron mines, the amazing Palisade Cliffs, and the magnificent Barn Rock area before heading back up the Vermont shoreline.
This adventure has been generously donated by NBS parent Jeff Meyers, a former sea kayak guide and naturalist for Paddleways, former Staff Scientist for the Lake Champlain Committee, and former Associate Director of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum.
Jeff now teaches biology at Otter Valley Union High School.
