Item Description
Central Coast Ups It's Luxury Game with debut releases from Crown Point: the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2013 Relevant Red. Both of these wines are made from 100% Estate -grown fruit from Crown Point Vineyards located in Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA.
Results are most noticeable in the density and depth of thse wines.
Aside from ego and the desire to compete directly with Napa's knee-knocking prices, the higher price per bottle relates directly to the meticulous production regimes of each wine.
(1) 750ml 2013 Crown Point Cabernet Sauvignon - Black as night, elegant in structure, with ollaleberry, baking and Asian spices, beef jerky, coffee foam and black plum reduction. Wine Enthusiast 96 points.
(1) 750 ml 2013 Crown Point Relevant Red - The blend of 30% Malbec, 30% Petit Verdot, 30% Syrah, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon is a stunner. Dark as night and extremely viscous in the glass. Thick and lush flavors of blueberry smoked coffee and roasted meat jump on the palate with glee. Wine Enthusiast 95 points.
