Enjoy 7 nights accommodation for 2 in a Papuan water cottage at the Kri Eco Resort in Raja Ampat, Indonesia including all meals and unlimited scuba diving.

Raja Ampat is an archipelago of over 1,500 small islands, including the four main islands of: Misool, Salawati, Batanta and Waigeo. Scientists have conducted several marine surveys in our area and their findings indicate that the marine life diversity here is the highest of any recorded on Earth. The variety of aquatic species, the variety and density of healthy vibrant corals and the abundance of fish has to be experienced to fully understand the importance of conserving the area. Less than 1 minute from the resorts is the famous ‘Cape Kri’ reef which holds the World’s Record for the highest number of fish species ever counted.

Diving includes 3 daily guided boat dives with an optional dusk/night dive. All dive sites are less than 15 minutes from the resort, so you can spend your surface interval relaxing and refreshing in comfort. Towels and fresh water are provided on the boat. Our dive guides will take care in ensuring your dive equipment is ready (divers need to analyse their own Nitrox). Our staff will rinse and stow the equipment for you. Unguided diving direct from Kri Eco or Sorido Bay resort’s jetty is also possible 7 days a week.  

The resort is made of locally sourced and low-impact materials; shaped and equipped to sustain the excesses of natural forces typical of the coastal area and tropical climate; styled very much in accordance with the local tradition of architecture. The setting allows incredible views of sunrise and sunset and gentle breezes in the evening. Our Papuan cottages create a feeling of calm and closeness with nature to a level few have experienced. The cottages are equipped with shared ‘mandi’ type bathrooms with western toilet (an indonesian mandi is operated by pouring water over yourself).

Free Wi-fi access is available and all cottages are equipped with electric fans for those still nights when a breeze is not strong enough. The cottages feature western style beds & mattresses with mosquito nets, soap, tissues & fresh towels, fresh drinking water, camera table with several sockets and free laundry service.  Kayaks and stand up paddle boards are available for free.

We cater for all tastes and provide a healthy fusion of western and Indonesian dishes.

Our kitchen will serve familiar dishes but will also offer you the chance to discover new local dishes and tropical fruits and vegetables.
