Ali is back with yet another offering.
She says..
I did a herbal certification course about 10 years ago and it was life changing- really our birth right to know the plants that surround us and how they can help us live with a deeper sense of connection, well being and health.
High bidder (one of three offerings available) accompany Ali as she teaches "Herbalism 101" and learn the basics of harvesting wild ramps and other medicinal and culinary herbs and ephemerals.
She will teach you the beginnnings of identification, uses, share the folklore and the "how to" of making pickled ramps, salves and tinctures.
This journey will need be a 3 to 4 hour day in the spring and another 3 to 4 hour day in the mid to late summer. Individuals must be able to do some light to moderate hiking (1-2 miles)
Harvesting/identifying spring ephemerals will be in Lincoln, however the fall herb walk can be in Lincoln or a tbd place in the event that the individual(s) want to learn about herbs on their own land and or close to home.
