Artist Bio:

Albert Goldreich

Albert is a professional glass and pottery artist whose art career began in 1975 in South Africa. Albert immigrated to the United States in 1981 and is a founding member of 18 Hands Gallery in Houston, Texas. Albert’s artwork is shown in numerous galleries including Archway Gallery in Houston, Copper Shade Tree in Roundtop, and Sugar Land Art Center and Gallery.  Albert has won many art awards including 2010 Best of Show and 2011 first place at the Hanson Gallery Annual Clay Show, and 2015 Best of Show at Sugar Land Art Center and Gallery.  Albert’s art has been featured in the Houston Chronicle, Fort Bend Star and Upclose magazine. Albert recently started working in fused glass. www.albertgoldreich-glass.com.

Albert has developed and delivered signature ceramic and clay programs in partnership with ARTreach since 2010. He frequently uses his art to benefit others. Albert creates workshops tailored to support seniors, children at risk, and children and adults with special needs in numerous settings including: Fort Bend senior centers; Mamie George Community Center; Making It Better after-school locations; the Fort Bend Juvenile Detention Center; Rio Bend Foster Care community; and Parks Youth Ranch.
