Cabilao is an isolated island just off the coast of Bohol, in the eastern part of Cebu. The Pura Vida Beach & Dive Resort Cabilao is situated near the village of Cambaquiz on the north-eastern point of the island, directly on the white palm-fringed beach. Our newly renovated resorts feature spacious rooms with hot and cold showers and air-conditioning. A spacious terrace with modern furniture and a breathtaking view over the ocean is a standard in every room.

The Restaurant together with the reception and the bar are on top of the cliff, where always a nice breeze goes around. The native nipa roof gives a special flair to the entire structure and gives a special tropical touch to the atmosphere. A “Deco-Beer” after the dives can be ordered and the modern new cliff bar.

The Main attraction, nevertheless is the diving. Cabilao is a top dive destination in the Philippines. Its healthy reefs, sizes and colors of soft and hard coral, the amount of fish and the biodiversity at the dive sites of Cabilao are world class. As Cabilao is a little bit isolated from the main tourist points, you can often enjoy the dive sites by yourself and not get disturbed by other divers.

The dive center of Sea Explorers has very experienced staff in their team, which will take you out to the best dive spots around the island of Cabilao.

Our Sea Explorers Dive Center at Cabilao is located on the beautiful white beach on the north east side of the island. Cabilao, with its amazing dive sites, offers great destinations for all levels of divers. There are about 20 excellent and unique dive sites which offer wall dives with amazing sizes of gorgonians, different species of pygmy seahorses. Muck diving, early morning and night dives can be arranged anytime. In combination with the spacious camera room, Cabilao Island is a paradise for underwater photographers. The dive sites are not crowded and everyone has plenty of time to get his money shot in. Special day trips to Balicasag Island can be arranged easily as well as a dive transfer to any other Sea Explorers destinations. Other day trips to Pangangan and Sandingan Island are offered on a regular basis.
