Item Description
Designed and built by Frederic Clay Bartlett in the 1920s, Bonnet House in Ft. Lauderdale served as the winter retreat for the Bartlett and Birch families and is one of the few complete homes and studios of two American artists open to the public. Murals and tromp l'oeil greet and treat the eye while the tropical tranquility of the estate's 35-acre barrier island ecosystem delights the senses.
