Item Description
Beth Racette says, "I grew up under a vast Kansas sky, climbing trees, watching for tornados, and playing with ant farms and thousands of baby toads."
With a childhood connection to the natural world, it's no surprise her recent artwork explores the Gaia Theory - a theory that the Earth is a complex, living, self-regulating system with the capacity to maintain condition for life. Her book GAIA is a collection of her work portraying the many systems and aspects of the Earth. "Water Planet" is one in the series.
Also included is a copy of her book GAIA with images of the works in the series.
