Item Description

Two Bottles of La Folette 2014 Chardonnay

100% Chardonnay

The North Coast appellation encompasses some of the coolest vineyards in the state, where yields are low and fruit ripening is often moderated by maritime influences. The vineyards within this boundary share a coastal trait: cool, foggy mornings, mild afternoons and chilly evenings, characteristics that contribute to bright fruit and crisp acidity in the wines. Adventurous vintners who explore the edge of possibility from the North Coast cultivate grapes with verve and bracing acidity not commonly found in California Chardonnay.

The 2014 harvest was without rains, so the fruit was received in pristine condition with every pick. First to be harvested were two lots of organic Chardonnay grown in Mendocino County. The second component, and our last pick of the year, comes from a well-established vineyard in the Sonoma Coast. Here old vine Chardonnay ripens slowly, adding gravitas and volume to the overall blend.

Three Bottles Marimar Estate Whites

Marimar Estate Don Miguel Vinyard Albarino 2015-

Marimar's sixth vintage of 100% Albarino shows the distinctive, clean aromas of Granny Smith apple, white peach and Asian pear, with light floral touches of jasmine and a minerality reminiscent of wet stones. The palate is rich, with bright acidity that follows through with a refreshing and crisp finish.

Pairs great with raw or grilled seafood, smoked salmon, sushi and Asian cuisine.

Marimar Estate Acero Chardonay 2015

This bottling of Acero captures the fresh, elegant aromas of the See clone: apple and pear, honeysuckle, and tropical fruits likepapaya. The gorgeous nose is followed seamlessly by the creamy mouthfeel, round and rich. The finish lingers on and on.

Easy to drink and perfect with foods like tapas, seafood and light dishes.

Marimar Estate Chardonnay 60% and Albarino 40% Blend 2014

This is a succulently juicy, light wine that is refreshing from start to finish. A wealth of jasmine, crisp apple and white peach combine effortlessly on the palate. With a kick of creaminess and power on the finish, it's the ideal wine for tapas and appetizers of all flavors.

Armitage 2009 Red Oregon Blend wine

The Grand Estates Amitage was harvested from vineyards located predominantly on the Wahluke Slope (for aromatics and complexity), the Columbia Valley and the Horse Heaven Hills (which contributes texture and body). This complex red exhibits layer flavors of blackberries and plums with a subtle spiciness and silky mouthfeel that leads to a long, elegant finish.

Bogle Phantom Red Wine 2012

Phantom, Bogle's mysterious apparition of ripe berry and relentless spice, returns to haunt wine lovers. Full of concentration and intensity, this wine will tease, tantalize and linger long after the last sip is gone. A symphony entrances the senses immediately: juniper berry and spice, with just a wisp of toasted coconut hinting at the American oak aging. Sparkling rubies catch the light and tempt your first sip. Juicy plums and brawny blackberries are succulent and intoxicating, as the full bodied structure takes hold. Abundant, yet ripe tannins round out the palate, yet don't overpower the redcranberry fruit. Aged for 24 months in 1 and 2 year-old American oak, Phantom exits with an enthralling and passionate finish.
