Kindly offered by NBS parent David Black is a 2 hour
trailride with your horse or one of his Warmbloods at Anja and his farm in Cornwall.
From David,
I studied and rode with Dominique Barbier, Ray Hunt, Buck Brannaman, John Lyons and many others over the years in developing my own personal style of horsemanship as part of a sport horse breeding program I had on the West coast.
Over those years we bred and foaled over 150 Dutch Warmblood sport horses on our farm in Washington that mostly went on to dressage and jumping careers. We moved the farm to Vermont in 2012. The farm currently has second and third generation breeding Dutch Warmblood "Gelderlanders" with 2 stallions, 4 mares and offspring.
Our philosophy is two part-
First, is to preserve a rare breed of horse, Gelderlanders which are very much the basis of today's modern Dutch Warmblood that we so often see in Olympic level competitions.
Second, is to breed and raise quality performance horses in a natural herd environment with imprinting, ground work and well started under saddle in preparation for future riders be it in competition or pleasure.
