Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Ovations Reward:

  1. Ovation Rewards do not expire.
  2. Ovation Rewards must be purchased as part of a legitimate incentive, motivation, recognition or sales promotion program.
  3. Ovation Rewards may not be used for group programs or catering functions.
  4. Guests must present and submit their Ovation Rewards Certificate upon check-in.
  5. Ovation Rewards are not replaceable if lost, stolen or destroyed.
  6. Ovation Rewards may not be valid where restricted by law.
  7. Ovation Rewards are not redeemable for cash and are void if sold for cash or other consideration.
  8. Any tax liability, including disclosure, connected with receipt or use of Ovation Rewards is the recipient's responsibility.
  9. Guest must provide the Ovation Rewards certificate number when booking their reward stay. Hotel policy further requires that the guest must guarantee reservations with a credit card for incidentals.
  10. Ovation Rewards are valid for one night stay in indicated room type, applicable room taxes, full breakfast for two in the hotel's all day dining restaurant and related taxes and gratuities only (excludes buffets and alcohol).
  11. Ovation Rewards are redeemable based upon last room availability in the room category purchased (some exceptions may apply). Some restrictions may apply to special event dates. Minimum night stays may be required.

  1. The value-in-kind for travel on Air Canada will be based on published retail airfare (plus applicable taxes, fees and charges, including without limitation Goods and Services Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and Quebec Sales Tax (QST)). Reservations will be subject to all the applicable fare rules including advance purchase, minimum/maximum stay, change/cancellation fees and booking class allocations.  All applicable taxes, fees and charges will be applied against the Barter Account. Once a ticket has been issued, all fare rules/conditions apply including, without limitation, Air Canada’s standard conditions of carriage. Tickets are not transferable and are not redeemable or refundable for cash.

 

  1. The Barter Account can be used exclusively for flights operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Express and Air Canada rouge. The Barter Account cannot be used to purchase Air Canada Vacations’ charter flights, travel packages (i.e. all-inclusive packages) or tickets on other airlines or codeshare flights.

 

  1. Transportation is subject to availability at time of reservation.

 

  1. Aeroplan accumulation is permitted with revenue tickets purchased through the Barter Account.  Aeroplan e-upgrade certificates are allowed for tickets booked using the appropriate fare levels and appropriate status, according to Aeroplan rules and regulations.

 

  1.         Instructions for Use

 

  1. Reservations must be completed and ticketed no later than December 31, 2016. Travel must be completed no later than January 31, 2017.

 

  1. In order to make a reservation, you must either go to www.aircanada.com or contact Air Canada at 1-800-419-1434 and provide the agent with the name of your organization as well as the following information:

You must ensure that the Air Canada agent provides you with your “record locator” number confirming your reservations.  This “record locator” contains all details pertaining to your flight plans, name and phone number.

 

  1. Ticketing will be issued electronically on all routes that are eligible for electronic ticketing. For ineligible routes, the ticket will be mailed to each travelling passenger.

 

  1.  If a ticket that has not been issued electronically is lost, it is replaceable at a charge against the Barter Account and the Air Canada Coordinator must be advised of this matter in order to effect the change.

 

  1. If a ticket is not used, reservation must be cancelled prior to travel date and where the ticket has not been issued electronically it must be returned to the Air Canada Coordinator (lisa.murano@aircanada.ca), otherwise the full value of the ticket will be charged against the Barter Account.
