Our classic one bedroom king cabin is a 525 sq ft cabin that includes: a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and extra linens, a dining and living area for two, a kitchenette complete with mini-refrigerator, microwave, and dishware, a screened front porch with Adirondack seating,  electric heat and air conditioning. Cozy up at night by the gas powered fireplace. Enjoy complimentary wireless internet, phone service, cable TV, and DVD player, and private driveway. Daily housekeeping and linen service included.

Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiast appreciate the natural beauty of our wooded property.  Weaving its way through and around the grounds are 3.8 Miles of hiking trails that provide ample opportunities to connect with nature. From the giant Maine pine trees, to the red granite boulders, and down to the rocky shore of our private beach access, you will enjoy being surrounded by many of the natural features Maine is renowned for. Take photographs of the exotic plant life along the trails, keep your eyes out for some of our Maine wildlife neighbors such as wild turkeys, porcupines, moose, fox and more. Bring along your binoculars because you will have a chance to see a variety of birds, both indigenous and migratory, as the call the area surrounding the grounds their home.

Guests of Point Lookout enjoy access to a wealth of indoor and outdoor recreation activities. Enjoy a morning game of tennis, hiking, biking, kayaking, horseshoes, disc golf and more while taking in the fresh mountain air. Should the day be cool or rainy, come inside and enjoy our state-of-the-art fitness and recreation complete with racquetball and squash courts, billiards, ping pong, basketball or volleyball in the gymnasium. Play a few frames of bowling in our eight lane bowling alley, complete with foosball and video game arcade. Enjoy a round of disc golf on our 18 hole course. We also keep a supply of card and board games on hand for you to enjoy.

Point Lookout is surrounded by a number of quaint Maine coastal towns including Camden, Rockland, Belfast, and Bar Harbor offering visitors plenty of options for shopping, dining and entertainment. During the winter, enjoy downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, toboggan sledding, ice fishing, and ice skating. Local summer activities include golfing, sailing, whale watching, and more. Year-round, there are plenty of great choices for things to do.
