Dakota Shy Winery founder Todd Newman and winemaker Tom Garrett share a goal: to craft wines of substance and place, which rival the best of what Napa Valley has to offer. Colleagues and friends from their years working together at Revana Family Vineyard they set out to create a world-class estate of their own in 2008, and began by sourcing Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from a range of great vineyards throughout Napa Valley. Produced in limited quantities, their handcrafted Cabernets reflect the highest expression of the vintage.

Founded by Patrice Breton in 2003 with the mission to craft extremely fine and distinctive Cabernet Sauvignon wines, Vice Versa Wines sources from some of Napa Valley’s most exceptional vineyards and employs draconian practices in both viticulture and winemaking to produce its coveted small lot wines. Patrice and his wife, Samantha, reside in St. Helena, California, where they direct all operations. Vice Versa Cabernet Sauvignon wines are single-vineyard expressions that represent the beauty and truth of Napa Valley. 

Two couples will have the pleasure of spending time with these inspiring vintners and entrepreneurs. At Dakota Shy, you’ll be treated to a lunch of wood-fired pizzas prepared by proprietor Todd Newman, with wines selected for pairing by winemaker Tom Garrett, who will join the lunch and the conversation. The following day you will join Samantha and Patrice Breton, proprietors of Vice Versa Wines at their estate in St. Helena, for a private lunch prepared by rising star, chef Gina Robertson.

You will receive a two Magnums from both wineries to enjoy at home as well. 

INSIDER’S INFO: Subject to availability of schedule and NOT available during harvest months. Advance reservations required, please book at least 30 days in advance. Expires January 31, 2018. Wines will be shipped directly to the winner.
