A day of tasting for two (2) couples at Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in the FAY Outlook Center in Napa Valley and at Patz & Hall in the Sonoma House
Two couples are invited to experience the finest in California wines and hospitality with a visit to Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars in Napa Valley and Patz & Hall in Sonoma.
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, founded in 1970, was thrust into the spotlight when a bottle of the 1973 S.L.VCabernet Sauvignon won the now-famous 1976 Judgment of Paris, besting some of France’s greatest wines. The stunning victory launched Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars into the ranks of the world’s most noteworthy Cabernet Sauvignon producers.
Patz & Hall, founded in 1988, has become one of California’s most highly regarded wineries with a celebrated portfolio of single vineyard wines. Though not the first California winery to make vineyard-designate Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, it was one of the first to introduce these wines to a wider audience outside of wine clubs and tasting rooms.
At Stag's Leap Wine Cellars, you will enjoy a tasting for four at the FAY Outlook & Visitor Center, and be guided through a tasting of their beautiful Estate Cabernets set against a breathtaking backdrop of historic estate vineyards and the Stags Leap Palisades. The Estate Collection flight showcases wines from the FAY and SLV Estate Vineyards, including the highly collected CASK 23.
At the Patz & Hall Sonoma House, your Salon tasting experience will include six Chardonnay and Pinot Noir single-vineyard-designate wines, paired with locally sourced food, and the opportunity to relax as you gaze out over the estate vineyards tucked along the edge of the Mayacamas Mountains.
