Carte Blanche & Keplinger invite you to be their guest for a private dinner at Meadowood Resort in St. Helena with Carte Blanche owner Nick Allen and Keplinger owner DJ Warner—plus a Private Barrel Room Tasting with Winemaker Helen Keplinger and and General Manager DJ Warner.

Helen Keplinger (Food & Wine “Winemaker of the Year 2012,” and honored with the cover and feature article of the June 15, 2014, Wine Spectator”) is the acclaimed winemaker for both wineries. In embracing Rhone valley grapes, especially Grenache, Helen Keplinger has created uniquely styled wines that are stretching the boundaries of what has been a Syrah-centric arena in California.

Helen began her own small production of single-vineyard Rhone varietal wines under her Keplinger label, working with her husband, DJ Warner, as well as a few select consulting clients. With a string of 22 outstanding wines since 2006, she's one of the most exciting and innovative winemakers to emerge in California in years.

Nick Allen’s boutique label in Napa Valley—Carte Blanche—represents his commitment to crafting limited, luxury wines in America that are inspired by the classical French winemaking tradition. His family has been in the wine business for nearly a century, since his great grandfather, Clarence Dillon, acquired Château Haut-Brion in 1935 and the family company, Domaine Clarence Dillon, subsequently purchased Château La Mission Haut-Brion in 1983.
