Built in 1947 by William Randolph Hearst and architect Julia Morgan, the castle boasts 165 rooms and 127 acres of gardens, terraces, pools and walkways—all built to house Hearst’s specifications and to showcase his legendary art collection.
Tour Hearst Castle’s opulent social rooms to see what it was like to be a guest of W.R. Hearst. Admission pass is valid for two adult admissions to the daytime Grand Rooms Tour and admission to "Hearst Castle - Building the Dream" at the Hearst Castle Theater.
