Item Description
Safe and gentle horses and ponies. Fun-filled days with good friends, new and old. Riding lessons. Games on horseback. Arts and crafts. This is just a sampling of the events that occur at Enterprise Farms’ riding camps, located within a private riding club on the edge of Griffith Park in Atwater Village.
This week-long summer camp features safety oriented instruction on how to work around horses, basic horsemanship skills, grooming, bathing, tacking and exercising.
Special guests -- including veterinarians, professional trainers, and farriers (horse shoers) -- demonstrate their expertise, invite hands-on participation and answer questions from students.
The week wraps up with a horse show and awards ceremony where your camper will demonstrate newly developed skills for family and friends!
Camp sessions are limited to small groups, which ensures that campers receive maximum attention and education.
Enterprise Farms welcomes first-time through advanced riders.
Available camp sessions begin June 19 and run weekly through September 11. Click here for the full schedule (Week of June 12 is sold out).*
