Win a pair of tickets to eight concerts in an intimate salon setting.
Now entering its third season, Uncharted at Greenwich House Music School has emerged as one of New York's most exciting and unpredictable live music series, drawing attention from tastemakers and curators from across the city. Every Uncharted performance features New York City artists premiering new projects or meeting with new collaborators for the first time on stage.
The 2017 Uncharted season promises a continuation of eclectic excellence in a broad selection of genres representing the melting pot of New York City, including Mexican folkloric, ragtime, classical, modern and traditional jazz, ancient Moroccan devotional and contemporary R&B.
Eight performances for Uncharted take place every Thursday from March 23 to May 11 with performances beginning at 8:00 pm. Complimentary drinks will be served prior to and during all concerts.
Highlights from the season include:
Award-winning Argentine vocalist, songwriter and producer Sofía Rei is considered one of the most passionate and inventive vocalists on the current New York music scene. Her music explores connections between the various traditions of South American folklore, jazz, flamenco and electronic sounds.
Innov Gnawa:Sebitiyin: The Jewish Songs of Gnawa
This young musical collective is dedicated to exploring Morocco's venerable gnawa music tradition.
Pianist Aaron Diehl is one of the most sought-after jazz virtuosos, playing with what The New York Times describes as "melodic precision, harmonic erudition, and elegant restraint."
Winner's name will be on guest list. Concerts begin at 8pm at 46 Barrow Street in Greenwich Village. Complementary wine and beer will be served. Open seating in this 100 seat venue.
