Spend a relaxing week during the "shoulder season" (May, June, September, or October) in this wonderful family-sized home in Chatham, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod. You're across the street from the town's landmark 19th-century lighthouse and the popular Lighthouse Beach and just a short walk to the quaint, historic center of "downtown" Chatham with its delightful shops, inns, and restaurants.
Your home for the week sleeps 8 comfortably, with three separate living areas to spread out in. There are two additional twin-sized daybeds in an open sitting area, so occupancy can be stretched to 10 people if necessary. The family room off the kitchen has a table and chairs for dining, games, projects, or puzzles, in addition to the more formal dining area that also adjoins the kitchen. The upstairs guest room and master bedroom include in-room sitting areas and small private balconies. The large, open, upstairs sitting/TV area also has a small balcony with a view of the ocean. The master bedroom has a private bath. The upstairs guest room and upstairs sitting area share a hall bath. There is an additional full bath downstairs.
The house includes a fireplace in the dining room with wood supplied and an outdoor gas grill with propane provided. Two televisions with cable service and wireless Internet are available. The upstairs bedrooms and sitting room offer air conditioning. The house is also heated, so you'll be comfortable no matter what the weather.
Located on the Atlantic Ocean right on Cape Cod's "elbow," Chatham is known for its grand old summer homes, many dating from the late 1800s, and its small-town main street. Nearby you'll find excellent restaurants, world-class golf, terrific sailing, whale watching, and lots and lots of lobster.

Dates to be arranged by mutual agreement with the owner. May not be used during July or August. The winning bidder will need to pay a refundable security deposit and sign an occupancy agreement.
