Item Description
This small, dark leather journal will calm and inspire you with its beautifully themed design. On the cover you will find an open scallop shell housing a large and lustrous pearl that is about to be carried away by a lovely young mermaid. Her outstretched arms, long flowing brown hair, green & gold fishtail, and the soft bubbles surrounding her give the picture a sense of movement, yet the scene is also filled with peace and tranquility. A small notepad is tucked inside, ready to accommodate your thoughts or record your dreams. This piece will be a treasured keepsake for sure!

About the Artist
Hava Hegenbarth’s name may be familiar, as her work graces some of The Seeing Eye’s lovely drawn note cards. Hava began drawing animals while stationed abroad with the U.S. Foreign Service. Her first assignment was in Australia, and later she was stationed in Rwanda and Tanzania. Since retiring from the Foreign Service, Hava devotes her time to her art and raising guide dogs. In addition to drawing and painting, she is also skilled in leatherwork and has donated many lovely pieces to The Seeing Eye.
