A beautiful delicate look.
Sarah Stavrou, a Former Model and Actress, started Sarafiné as a hobby in February 2003, designing and hand sewing pillows for friends and family. During her many travels around the world, she collected textiles, concentrating predominantly on rare Antique pieces. Her pillows have been adorned and purchased by many clients and celebrities including Lenny Kravitz – see (Vogue Magazine – press page above) and Garcelle Beauvais – (Instyle Magazine – press page above).
Sustainability is important to Sarah and is reflected in her work. “ If we utilize the resources we already posses, less resources are needed and therefore, gentler on our Planet.” This is why recycling is an integral part of Sarah’s designs. Small remnants that are left over from Interior Design projects are turned into jewelry. Sarafiné pillows and jewelry has appeared in Brides, Vogue, In-Style and FHM magazines. Sarah’s work has also been featured on ABC’s “Eye On LA,” A & E “All Year Round With Katie Brown,” and Style “The Modern Girl’s Guide to Life.” Sarafine’s pillows and jewlery designs have been featured in many stores, including Carlyle, Marlow Antiques, Kevin Hart, H. Lorenzo, Planet Blue, and R. M. Barokh Antiques.
