Artist's Bio and Statement
I capture what other artists can't. I see what other artists won't. I paint from the heart, every time. My artworks speak more than words ever can.
I was born in West Philadelphia in 1961, where I received a scholarship to go to the Philadelphia School of Fine Arts at the age of 12. At the age of 14, I moved to Berkeley, where I attended Berkeley High. I am mostly self-taught but studied under master artist and muralist Little Bobby Duncan. Together we painted the 100-foot mural on the building across from the Caltrain station in San Mateo. Over the past 35 years, I have painted murals around the country, including for former SF 49er player Dana McLemore, as well as hats for Steph Curry, Steve Young, and others.
