Item Description

"Summertime
does not have the extreme comfort of a mega yacht but is a 36 foot cruising powerboat with a top speed of 19 knots - two sleeping cabins with double beds - bathroom with shower - fully equipped cooking facilities - air conditioning and heat, roomy main cabin and outdoor decks.

An experienced captain will be on board to operate the boat.

Suggested Itinerary (can be modified)

Option #1:  Depart from Greenport Long Island any time on Friday for travel to Mystic Seaport Museum. Alternative to avoid Friday traffic, you would be welcome to sleep over Thursday night.

Option #2: Join the boat at Mystic Seaport Museum any time after noon on Friday. Visit the museum and board the boat at your leisure and sleep aboard while docked. Driving time from mid-Westchester 1 hour 40 minutes. Depart for Block Island Saturday morning. Tour Block Island by car or bike.  Sleep aboard dock side. 

Return to Mystic or Greenport on Sunday with possibility of stopping off for lunch at the upscale Ocean House in Watch Hill, Rhode Island or Abbot's famous Lobster House in Niantic, Connecticut.

Continental breakfasts, soft drinks and snacks provided.  Dinner will be ashore at expense of bidder.  Also not included:  lunches ashore, bike and car rentals, alcoholic beverages, transportation to and from Greenport, Long Island or Mystic. Secure parking in Greenport or Mystic will be provided.  FYI - There is also an express bus from upper east side, NYC, Hampton Jitney, that goes directly to Greenport.

 

 

 

 

 

Item Special Note

Availablity:  NOT available June 9-11, 2017, June 16-24, 2017 or July 12-16, 2017. A three day mid-week cruise is also a possibility. The boat is free the rest of the summer dates. After Labor Day and up to the end of September, 2017 will be much easier to get dock space, etc. Owner has the right to cancel trips due to dangerous weather but will work with winning bidder to secure another date. Fishing is not available on this trip.

Winning bidder must firmly commit to the date and itinerary by the date to be determined, so that reservations and arrangements can be made.
