"Mosaic allows me to express my creativity on my own terms, deciding on colors, materials, and substrates that appeal to me. I have evolved from covering recycled pieces to challenging myself by shaping my own forms. From using only broken china to using stained glass, smalti, found objects, natural stones and beads.
Subject matter originates from my memory and imagination, and each piece guides me to the materials and colors used. I strive to always look for the challenge, be it in the shape, design, style, color blending, or materials.
I like to think that my style is continually evolving."
