Welcome to the University of California, Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science—the country’s only science center that is part of a top-tier, public research university. This distinctive affiliation allows the Hall to partner with world-class scientists, engineers, educational leaders, and teachers, with the goal of developing and disseminating the most innovative and effective science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) programs available today. Our mission is to inspire and foster science learning for all—especially for those with limited access to science.

Chabot Space & Science Center Admission for 4
Featuring two planetariums, exhibits for younger children, historic space related artifacts, a large screen theater, and lots of hands-on activities, Chabot Space and Science Center in Oaklan is a fantastic place to introduce young minds to STEM, especially elementary and middle schoolers.
Set amid beautiful redwood parkland in the hills above Oakland, Chabot is also home to Nellie, Rachel and Leah - three magnificent telescopes and the largest on the west coast open weekly to the public. Here visitors of all ages can experience for themselves the wonders of the cosmos as they gaze through the telescopes at distant stars and planets.
