Item Description
This beautiful 24 x 36 poster - a copy of the 1936 original - is printed on high quality poster paper and framed with a good quality frame.
The Great Lakes Exposition was held in Cleveland in the summers of 1936 and 1937, along the shore of Lake Erie. The fair commemorated the Cleveland's centennial incorporation as a city. Conceived as a way to energize a city hit hard by the Great Depression, the expo drew 4 million visitors in its first season, and 7 million by the end of its second and final season.
