If you haven't guessed by now, the fat ladies are the subjects of artist Borys Buzkij, and they've attracted attention at the Festival of the Arts.
While some artists might be offended at people laughing at their work, it's a compliment to the good-natured, smiling Buzkij.
He strives for a whimsical feeling in his work. The smiles and laughter are proof that he's successful.
"Most people who do come by smile," he said, acknowledging that he, too, gets a kick out of his work.
"They're much more fun to do than traditional art work," he said.
