Item Description
Nordica Avenger 82 Skis
128-82-112 170
The Avenger 82 is the widest ski in the Avenger series, with an 82 mm waist and 128 mm tip designed to mow through groomers, powder, and other various conditions. This is the most powder-focused ski out of the Avenger series, although its main intention is to rip groomers and other less-deep snow. All Mountain camROCK technology lifts the tip and tail up and off the ground, designed for floatation and extra maneuverability. Meanwhile, Energy Frame Composite construction combines ABS plastic sidewalls with a variety of materials comprising the core including steel, carbon, and wood stringers (strips of wood), designed for a durable yet lightweight profile. For something similar but skinnier, check out the Avenger 78 and Avenger 75. The three-ski Avenger series focuses on all mountain carving skis intended to rip turns on all terrain. Waist widths range from 75 to 82 mm depending on the model, and radii range from 12 - 17 m, also depending on the model. If you spend a lot of time on groomers and other hardpack conditions, but also venture elsewhere every once in a while, this is one of Nordica's best series for you. Nordica, based in Giavera del Montello, Italy, was founded in 1939. Its U.S. headquarters are in West Lebanon, N.H.
